For a few years now, I've been in the season of apologies with my three young adult kids. It is important to acknowledge our mistakes because it hopefully promotes healing and reminds them that we parent out of our own place of self awareness (which is an ongoing process). Our conversations have opened up each other's perspectives about our family narrative.
I love this, Linda. As a mom going through days full of simultaneous regrets and joys with my children, these words are comforting. 💕
Thank you, Alyssa. There’s grace for all of it!
Thank you for this.
Beautiful, Linda. Thank you.
Thank you for reading, friend.
Oh the intentions we have as parents! Sigh. Thank you, Linda. I needed this.
Thank you, Michelle. We’re all on this challenging journey, aren’t we?
We are indeed.
